Artist Craig Wynn

River City Coffee will be hosting an artist reception for Craig Wynn on Friday, November 21, from 6 – 9pm.

Craig Wynn’s work mostly concerns nature and humanity. It is his hope to inspire a sense of environmental and social responsibility through the use of street, adventure, and nature photography.

MOTUS, taken from the Latin word for “movement”, is a series of some of the most remote landscapes in Washington State.

The images are composed around moving tonal values which were captured through the use of long exposure techniques.

The resulting textures produce surreal scenes that are both familiar and placeless.
